Not everyone understands the significance of eyebrows being on point. It shapes your face and gives it a character. Everyone has had a bad eyebrow threading or wax encounter. That’s where filling in the eyebrows comes into play. There are a certain key points that you need to keep in mind while filling in the brows.
Step 1: Get them in shape
Shaping the eyebrows is a very important step on the path of achieving the perfect eyebrows. But make sure to not ever pluck the brows. Your brows must begina little further in from the inner corner of the eyes. The arch must align with the pupil and the nostril. And the tail comes in line with the outer corner of the eye when drawn a straight (imaginary) line from the nose.
Step 2: Choose the product as per the finish you desire
If you’re aiming for a more natural look, use a brow pencil to fill your brows. If a little more shape but not a lot of precision is what you’re looking for, use a powder. And if you want that Instagram Baddie brow, use brow pomade.
Step 3: Fill them in
While filling the brows, remember that eyebrows are sisters not twins. Pick the colour that matches best with your natural hair; avoid blacks and browns. An angular brush works best to fill in the brows. Use a light hand to begin with and follow the natural shape of your brows. Make short, feathery strokes that imitate your natural brow hair. Keep blending out any harsh lines or excess product as you proceed. Do not turn the front of the brows into a harsh square. Keep it light.
Step 4: Give it a neat finish
Once you’ve filled the brows, take a concealer that more or less matches your complexion or is half a shade lighter, and outline the brows. This will give the eyebrows a neat finish, even if you’re aiming for a natural look. You can also use a brow gel, to make the brow hair stay in place.
